0n sat past(25th sept)the Rossa u 10s took part in the John mcveigh memorial tournament at Newbridge,with 16 teams taking part the Rossas faced a tough task,especially after being drawn in a group with Saul(co down)Lavey and ballymaguigan. On Saturday 11th September our P5 Rossa Ogs attended Newbridge’s annual tournament. They played against Ballinderry, Lavey and Kilrea in the group stage, beating Ballinderry and Kilrea and losing narrowly to Lavey by 2 points. This meant that Magherafelt qualified for the Cup competition and were drawn against Lavey in the semi-final. Lissan has been confirmed as the venue The minor footballers play Ballinderry in the all county championship A grade final after beating last years winners Dungiven in the semi-final. On Thursday 12th August the Rossas Under 6 team made their first visit to the All County blitz held in Owenbeg. The Senior Ladies footballers are away to Ballymaguigan in the league on Monday 16th August at 7.30pm. The U-16s played Lissan at home in the league, comfortably winning the match on a scoreline 10-10 to 3-01. They now play Castledawson away in the league on Wednesday 18th August at 7.30pm.
