    Feile - Sunday 4th July

    Host families return children to Rossa Park to get buses for home.

    Please note that should any of the teams reach the finals, Sunday arrangements for them will be different as they will need to be back at Rossa Park to get bus to final venue

    Times should be checked with the mentors.

    Feile Meeting

    There will be meeting to finalise all details for Feile next Tuesday Night, 29th June, Rossa Park, Marquee, 8.30pm after under 14 home league match V Slaughtneil. This meeting is for all Feile parents, host families plus boys and girls teams as Feile gear will be distributed on the night.

    Please contact everyone involved with this as we need a big turnout. We will be asking for volunteers for the following:

    Barbecue helpers/cookers for Friday and Saturday
    People to make sandwiches, bake or bring buns, cakes, biscuits for Friday and Saturday
    people in charge of teas and coffees for Fri and Sat
    Shop supervisors for Friday and Saturday to oversee and help young shopkeepers

    u16 Camogs Progress In Championship

    Magherafelt 3-6 Castledawson 1-3
    The Rossa U16 camogs saw off their neighbours in the first round of the U16 camogie championship on Sunday at Rossa Park. Magherafelt were first off the block, with points from Niamh McGuckin and Brid Corrigan. Having missed a few goal opportunities early on, Magherafelt converted through Niamh Cushley before the break. The Rossas continued to dominate in midfield through Sinead Comer and Brid Corrigan while Gabriella McNicholl was in super form in centre half back. Orla McCollum scored a lovely long range goal to put Magherafelt in a more comfortable position. Eimear Bradley pulled on a long ball in from Sinead Comer to settle the affair. This was a great team performance from the girls and will give them a lift for the next round against Newbridge. Rossa: A McGuckin, Lauren Kearns, Danielle Shivers, Niamh O’Loughlin, Aine O’Donnell,
